Dutch illustrator 'Parra' has developed a remarkable relationship with Nike. After creating one of the most important and prolific Air Max 1s of all time, the creative left the scene for a few years. Around 2018, Nike and Parra picked up the thread to collaborate again on the Air Max 1. Now, a new Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low seems to be on the way. Learn more for all the details!
Parra x Nike
Parra knows how to deliver stunning designs with his mind for both streetwear and sneaker culture, but it's been a while since the last Nike SB x Parra release. The last release took place in 2019.
New Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low release
Images of the new Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low, which does not yet have a release date, have surfaced in March 2021. These pictures and information come from insiders, who got their hands on a sample pair.
In the images, you can see that the upper has the classic Parra style, with bright, colourful artwork. The base of the sneaker is dark mocha brown suede. Instead of the model's standard colour blocking, the signature colourful artwork is applied only to the overlays of the right shoe. On the left silhouette, a white leather overlay can be seen. Here, instead of on the overlay, the pronounced and abstract motifs are on the centre panel and collar. This gives rise to a varied style that perfectly suits the designer's style. A blue lining and white rubber sole complete the design.
According to @NikeSBFeatures (on Instagram), the pictured pair is a trial version of the collaboration. The retail pair is expected to look different in terms of colours, but specific changes were not shared.
