A first look at the Hartcopy x adidas BW Army
Hartcopy, founded by Timothy Suen in 2020 during the lockdown, has made a huge leap. They have evolved from a simple sneaker archive on Instagram to a serious media publication. Every year, they also publish a book showcasing the best sneaker releases. And guess what, dear community? In 2024, they will be collaborating with none other than adidas.
Hartcopy dug into the adidas archives for this collaboration and gave the 1970s German army sports shoe, better known as the adidas BW Army, a modern twist. The sneaker has been given a streamlined aesthetic with a buffed leather upper and matching rubber outsole.
Striking red stitching can be seen on each side of the shoe, creating an eye-catching contrast to the base. As the icing on the cake, the Hartcopy logo appears on the right insole, further emphasising the collaboration.
The Hartcopy x adidas BW Army is expected to release in 2024 via Hartcopy's website and possibly also through adidas and select retailers. While we wait for more information, we can check out the first images of the design below!
