New Balance and Teddy Santis fit together like no other. The collaborations with Aimé Leon Dore were flying over the counter, and that got New Balance thinking. In 2021, Santis became the Creative Director of the MADE in USA line and released a bunch of different colorways.
The New Balance 990v3 'Raw Amethyst' (M990TD3) is made of mesh and suede, with the mesh covering the base of the upper in a dark blue colorway. The overlays over the toebox and under the collar are suede in grey. Over the rest of the upper are large purple overlays, also made of suede. To give the sneaker even more colour, there are orange accents around the shoe.
