After the release of the Supreme x Nike summer collection earlier this month, we finally see the release of the Nike SB Darwin Low. The first images of the sneaker already appeared in late 2023. On May 2, 2024, the Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low will drop in no less than four colorways.
Supreme 30 years
It's a busy year for Supreme. The New York streetwear label is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2024 and is packing big for it. After the release of the Supreme x Nike collection, Supreme came out with a book that pays tribute to their graphic tees designed over the past thirty years. The Supreme 30 Years: T-Shirts 1994-2024 book consists of three volumes and showed all the tees ever released.
Something was missing from Supreme and Nike's recent release: the Nike SB Darwin Low. The silhouette's arrival had been teased for months, so people were surprised that the sneaker did not appear in the campaign. Now we finally see the release of the reinterpreted Nike Darwin Low.
The Nike Air Darwin was originally released in 1994, also the year Supreme was founded. Especially for Supreme's 30th anniversary and the silhouette, Supreme and Nike have reinterpreted the Darwin. The Nike SB Darwin Low appears in four colorways; 'Khaki', 'Volt', 'Black', and 'Sail'.
The model features an upper made of sturdy canvas. The Phylon midsole and rubber outsole offer comfort with every step. The sneaker comes with a reversed Swoosh on the heel. Nike and Supreme branding appear on the toe cap, tongue, and insole. A colorway that stands alone is the “Khaki,” which features a camouflage pattern on the upper.
The Supreme x Nike SB Darwin Low 'Khaki', 'Volt', 'Black', and 'Sail' are available exclusively from Supreme. The four colorways drop on May 2, 2024. Check out images of the sneakers below and don't miss this drop.
