Release reminder: Dime gives the ADI2000 a classic makeover

Dime already has many collaborations to its name, think Vans and Kanuk. Now the brand is joining forces with adidas again in 2024 to give the ADI2000 a new look, inspired by the skate vibes of the early 2000s.

Founded in 2005 in Montreal, Dime began as a small skate crew and grew into a globally known skateboarding company. Known for their skate videos with dry humour, such as 'The Dimestore Video' and 'Knowing Mixtape Vol. 2', Dime has been organising the annual Dime Glory Challenge since 2015.

The brand has an extensive range, from t-shirts to jackets, and has built global recognition in skate culture. Now an ADI200 joins that.

While many recent ADI2000 colorways have been quite striking, Dime takes a different approach with their 'Feather Grey' colour scheme. Most of the sneaker is made of suede, which makes it look stylish yet nice and sturdy. A subtle Off-White shade on the midsole adds a classic edge, while the gum sole at the bottom of the shoe provides grip and stability while skating. Last but not least, the design is finished off with an ornate Dime logo on the side panel.

We can expect the Dime x adidas ADI2000 to be released on 29 April 2024 via adidas and selected retailers. Wondering what else adidas has in store for us in the coming months? Then check out the upcoming releases via the button below!
